SMILE

A sudden thought rushed into my head lately... and it pretty much told me to try something fresh with composition even more so than my usual direction. The very process for this piece, as well, took a different turn. Instead of a black-and-white baseline, I immediately started painting with colored strokes.

And here we are now! Presenting my mad and inspired take on none other than the JOKER!!!
Combining the more horror-classic approach from Dave McKean's stylish somewhat abstract art with how Heath Ledger portrayed the CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME led me right to this interpretation/illustration.

And I really, really hope y'all dig this!
